Balanced Rock by Moonlight by ~tourofnature
Suggester writes: "It's amazing what long exposures can show us that our eyes could never see. Fog swept moonlight descending like a veil, and stars glinting beyond in the darkened night sky. This shot took some dedication, and man was it worth it. It's downright gorgeous."

Description
An attempt at night photography in Arches National Park. One constant companion I had on my recent weekend trip to the park was fog.
I walked through the fog in an impossibly quiet night until the precariously balanced rocked loomed before me. I shot here for about an hour in complete silence as I watched layer after layer of fog sweep over my subject. After many shots, this was one of the only ones with enough of a break in the fog to see the sky and stars, the full moon was directly above the rock on the right of the frame.
This was around a 60 second exposure.
Canon 5D. 17-40mm.

A spectacular night atmosphere I love the mist playing with the rock and the point of view you've chosen
