Water Flowing Downhill by tourofnature Water Flowing Downhill by tourofnature
The South Rim of the Grand Canyon, Arizona.

The Canyon is the most impressive sculpture I've ever seen. Not only is it's immensity mind boggling, but the aesthetics created by the textures and chaotic symmetry formed by the simple act of water flowing downhill on this scale is unlike anything I've seen.

I found it to be very inspiring and now have my sites set on a backpacking trip to explore down below the rim. This image is my best attempt to capture a bit of it's grandeur. If you get a chance to visit the Canyon, get yourself to an overlook at sunrise or sunset and enjoy a great light show.

While no one photo can truly capture an 'in person' view of the Canyon - this is an exceptionally nice blend of it's elements !
