Rain and wind were a constant this past weekend in the Moab area. While not great for backpacking and mountain biking, this weather instability lends well to dramatic landscapes.

Shafer Canyon with the LaSal Mountain Range in the distance, Canyonlands NP, Utah.

Canon 5D. 17-40L. Circ Polarizer. 2HS GND filter.

maybe a bit too heavy and dark sky on the top but that's just me:) however fantastic photo of this amazing location! hat down mestre!

I appreciate that, the sky was really dark at the time, but maybe the 2stops is a bit too much. I may try to adjust that a little bit.
