I dug this one up while checking around on my external hard-drive.

This shot was taken during the hike down after shooting here [link] I still remember this hike well, it was bitter cold and I was on a photography high after finally shooting the sun set at Delicate Arch in Arches National Park.

Some of you may remember my challenge in this photo [link] Well, here is the view...

Canon 5D. 24-105mm. HDR. Circular Polarizer.

wow, this is so beautiful! great and very subtle use of hdr. tiny thing: the foreground (i.e. rock and plant) could use a tad more light - for me. but apart from that really great :)

Thank you. I pushed it about as much as I could to brighten it up, a scenen like this is pretty tought to expose for, with such a dark foreground and a bright background. I agree tho, the foreground is a bit dark compared to the background. Thanks for the comment. :D
