New Day in Bryce Canyonby *tourofnature

Here is a view on the Queen's Garden trail in Utah's Bryce Canyon National Park.

My previous post shows a view of the canyon from the rim, this is what you experience if you hike down into the canyon. On the left is one of Bryce's more famous Hoodoos, what they call "Thor's Hammer", which is a free standing monolith over a 150 feet tall.

I had a lot of different images from this sunrise but I decided to use the one with a fellow photographer in it to give a sense of scale. It's a great place to be when the sun is rising over the horizon, especially if you have a camera in hand.
