Great Blue Heron by tourofnature Great Blue Heron by tourofnature
The Great Blue Heron is an impressive bird. These are the largest of North American Heron's. The bird's slow movement can be deceptive as they linger with their long legs standing statue like until the right moment when they strike at prey with their sharp, dagger like beak.

This one was photographed near the Great Salt Lake in Utah as the sun set on the horizon.

I'd like to use this image in a school assignment. I'm working on creating magazine ads for an island in Florida. What type of restrictions do you have in place for students? Please contact me at amn014@latech.edu
