Zion National Park near the peak of fall is quite a spectacle. This classic view gives an idea of what a visitor to the park will experience. I remember well my first visit to the park 5 years ago, I had never been so taken back by a landscape.

The famous Watchman peak can be seen in distance on the left, as the Virgin river, the creator of the canyon, continues to sculpt the landscape.

Zion NP, Utah.

Canon 5D. 3HS and 2HS GND filters. Circ Polarizer.

Considering the foreground is in deep shade and that you have the bright sunlight on the wall it turned out real good. Nice fall colors and sky.

Thanks, it was a tough exposure, a lot of post-processing was needed. Very photogenic location tho!
