Artist's Comments

This is one my favorite images I've created so far.

I had to get wet for this one, which I didn't plan on until I slipped into the water by accident. One of my best missteps.

It was great watching this spectacle. I changed my mind about 4 times of where I wanted to be positioned for the final moments of daylight, and I think this one turned out good.

Canon 5D. 24-105mm. Circular polarizer. HDR

Critiques welcomed.

of course it's okay to say that :) It's an amazing piece...not to mention, if can be your favourite for what it means to you. For instance if i drew a crap doodle (no surprise there) but it was during the best moment of my life, then of course it would be my favourite work ever ;)

all examples aside, it's an amazing photo :D the light and the sky are pretty spectacular ;)

Yes, I definitely think the composition is superb on this one, particularly since the sun coming in from the upper right really brings the eye down and into the picture to the left. I like very much the hue of the sunlight as it's reflected on the water and how that changes as you sweep down into the foreground at the left. Nice work!

That is so beautiful, peaceful.Excellent how you have photographed it looking into the sun as the clouds soared across. Wonderful composition and colours.:icongivemesmilesplz:
